If this challenge interests you, here is the job description:
- You will be on the front-lines of both new product initiatives as well as iterations on our core platform
- You will take the lead on highly visible technical features, help others on the team with complex problems, and work closely with the product team and designers
- Be involved in product definition, design/development, QA and deployment
- Work in an agile environment with bi-weekly sprint plans
- You’ll be involved in projects of varying scope and complexity:
- Sign-up flow
- Credit models
- Internal tools for sales and operations
- Systems for sending and receiving payments
- Accounting systems
- Data-visualization and business intelligence products, both internal and customer-facing
- Systems for onboarding customers
- Integrations with a great many data sources
You will thrive if you:
- Have experience in a modern Javascript framework
- Have a passion for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams, with a history of building strong relationships with Product and Design
- Are comfortable with the ambiguity of an early-stage company. This includes being able to transform product sketches into working technology, as well as working in an environment with a very short technical backlog
- Are Interested in our client’s core domain - finance, technology, eCommerce and entrepreneur market - experience as an entrepreneur is a big plus
- You have an "engineering first" mindset and don't pigeon-hold yourself into specific technology niche
- You prioritize being a good teammate and bring positive energy to the workplace
- You're capable of owning projects end-to-end
- You can learn independently and are self-motivated to stay productive in a remote culture
Requisitos
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant experience
- Proven and recurring success in building web applications with technologies like (but not limited to): TypeScript, Vue and Node
- Experience with distributed systems with technologies like (but not limited to): RabbitMQ, Kubernetes and PostgreSQL is a good PLUS
- The technologies of the web (HTTP, JSON APIs, REST, HTML)
- SQL database programming and performance
- Data structures and algorithms
- Enterprise systems and asynchronous architectures
- Ruby or Python are a big PLUS
- Writing maintainable systems
